It’s time to get the 2024 season going!! Book your summer fun float: tubes, kayaks or canoes. The river is coming up nicely. Online reservation is up and running… you can make your reservations now, floats will begin Memorial day weekend Friday May 24th through Labor day Monday September 2nd!
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays arrive at SHUTTLE LOT FIRST 12521 190th St. Monticello, IA 52310.
Monday through Friday come to the office first to check in: 21430 River Road, Monticello, IA 52310, where you will be shown where to leave your vehicle so it’s ready for you when your float is finished.

Whether your interests lie in canoeing, kayaking, tubing, fishing, watching wildlife, or simply relaxing, this is the perfect trip for you. The Maquoketa River is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the 8 mile water trail of the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of Eastern Iowa. The trail begins at our office (just below the Mon-Maq Dam) in Monticello and ends at Pictured Rocks Park.
